On the up side, I received three pages of feedback from the editorial team, noting the good, the bad and the ugly. I've since implemented the proposed changes and am preparing to self publish on Kindle Unlimited. Although I've tried to look at this experience from a positive lens, how the editorial team took time to read the book, gave feedback, et.al, as each year passes, I become more insecure about my path as a writer.
